High-impact Role In An Innovative And Fast-paced Global Law Firm EnvironmentA premier global law firm with offices across the US, Europe and Asia, renowned for innovative work and representing high-stakes matters with clients across technology, life sciences and deeply involved in emerging companies and venture capital.Job DescriptionThe role has responsibilities to lead BD efforts in the West Coast offices for the firm, including California, Washington and Colorado. Develop and execute business development strategies to expand client portfolios. Collaborate with marketing and agency teams to identify and pursue new opportunities. Manage high-level client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships. Analyze market trends to identify potential growth areas within the professional services industry. Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with prospective clients. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Oversee the development of tailored proposals and presentations for clients. Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.The Successful ApplicantA successful Director of Business Development should have: 10+ years' experience with business development and client relationship management in law firm or professional services. 5+ years' experience with direct people management. Strong collaboration skills with marketing and agency teams. Ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities. Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing high-value deals. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Open to candidates in the following locations: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palo Alto, San Diego, Seattle, Denver, Santa Monica.What's On OfferCompetitive base salary range = $280,000 to $340,000 (dependent on candidate location, skillset & experience).
