The anticipated salary range for this position is $123,000 - $185,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

We're seeking a high‑energy Director of Business Development who is driven by building meaningful relationships and expanding our industrial presence in the Twin Cities. This individual‑contributor role focuses on developing new client partnerships, growing existing relationships, and generating profitable opportunities that support long‑term growth, while serving as a visible and trusted representative of Boldt in the market.

You'll be closely involved in shaping our growth strategy, helping define where we compete, who we pursue, and how we win. What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in construction/management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA or related master's level degree is helpful.
  • Seven to ten years of AEC and/or professional services business development experience.
  • A valid driver's license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons' ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.

  • Outstanding marketing/business development and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated involvement in community and/or AEC organizations.
  • Proven track record of effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal adaptability, along with the ability to communicate and connect with a variety of individuals, both internally and externally.
