Key Responsibilities for the Director of Billing:
• Lead and oversee healthcare billing operations
• Manage revenue cycle processes to optimize collections and reimbursement
• Monitor billing performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and healthcare regulations
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Supervise, mentor, and develop billing team leadership and staff
Qualifications for the Director of Billing:
• 5+ years of healthcare billing or revenue cycle experience
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, reimbursement, and collections processes
• Experience managing revenue cycle performance metrics and KPIs
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and payer requirements
