Director of Business Development
Reporting to the CEO/President in Maryland.
Our client is looking for someone to drive growth, revenue, and long-term strategic partnerships across design and construction. This role focuses on strategy development, opportunity identification, qualification, capture plans, and securing opportunities with federal, state, and local government agencies.
We are looking for someone with:
-10+ years in business development or capture management for design/construction firms in the government sector.
-Proven track record of winning significant government contracts in a full and open environment.
-Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, regulations, and contracting vehicles.
-Demonstrated success growing a small company, including developing the strategy and planning.
-Experience with competitor assessments and developing the price to win for key opportunities.
-The expertise to lead the development and execution of the client's marketing strategy and all marketing materials.
-Great networking and relationship management skills.
