Job Summary
This position leads and oversees the Athletics Ticketing Office, providing strategic direction and daily management of all ticketing operations. The individual serves as the primary point of contact for all ticketing inquiries and is responsible for the sale and management of season tickets, single-game tickets, group tickets, premium seating, parking, and outbound ticket sales initiatives. Additional responsibilities include generating ticketing reports, developing and executing ticketing and revenue strategies, enhancing the customer experience, and maximizing ticket revenue while strengthening the ETSU Athletics brand.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with enterprise ticketing solutions; experience with the Paciolan ticketing system is preferred.
- Experience managing athletics ticketing operations, including oversight of game-day ticketing activities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly learn new software and technology.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, poise, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively as a member of a team while coordinating multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of and commitment to complying with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations of East Tennessee State University, the Southern Conference, and the NCAA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and either:
- One (1) year of professional experience in collegiate or professional ticket sales, athletics sales, or a related field, with demonstrated success in meeting sales goals; or
- Two (2) years of graduate assistantship or internship experience in one of these areas, with demonstrated success in meeting sales goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master''s degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience using the Paciolan Unlimited ticketing software system
