Job Summary and Qualifications You will assume the 24-hour responsibility and direction of the operations of the Adult Critical Care Units as well as direct oversight of one of the individual Adult Critical Care Units as needed You will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of comprehensive Adult Critical Care Nursing services by planning, directing, managing, and evaluating the day-to-day operations of the units You will be responsible for problem resolution within assigned areas and maintain current competency with the nursing skills required for the position You will demonstrate knowledge regarding Standards of Care and Standards of Practice in the areas assigned and maintain calm in a crisis and direct staff members appropriately You will develop and recommend to the CNO major objectives of operations to support approved policies and procedures, and will collaborate with nursing management and staff nurses in defining, guiding, and evaluation nursing practice in the provision of Adult Critical Care, including creation of related policies and procedures What qualifications you will need: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing BSN required Master's Degree in Nursing or related health field ( or actively in progress ) required BLS, ACLS required Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Nursing Administration, or other applicable nursing certification preferred Minimum 3 years experience in an acute care setting required Minimum of 1 year management and leadership experience required Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center provides Las Vegas and the Southwest region with high-quality, advanced healthcare services.
