Director of Admissions Systems and Operations January 27, 2026 Long Island Campus Admissions

The Director of Enrollment Systems and Operations will serve as the primary administrator of the Universitys CRM Slate with a focus on data integrity and best practices, and will seek improvement opportunities on a regular basis. The Director is also responsible for managing the overall business processes and operations throughout Admissions. The Director provides leadership and training to the processing and administrative staff throughout the division.

A primary goal for this full-time role is to provide prospective students with a high-quality, seamless, and timely experience from inquiry through enrollment, while also supporting all internal and campus-wide stakeholders involved in the admissions, recruitment, and enrollment process. Additionally, the Director is responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the CRM, and ensures that all admissions recruitment and enrollment functions are fully supported. Furthermore, this role serves as the lead in integrating the CRM with the Universitys SIS and other external systems. In this leadership position, the Director will also provide training and oversight for system users and regularly implement procedures to enhance recruitment and admissions functions supported by the CRM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise processing and operational activities within admissions, including mailings, emails, data review, processing, scholarship processing, communications, auditing, and quality control, inventory, duplicate checks, coordination of logistics and supplies, etc. • Maintain and oversee the execution of the communication plan for all new student populations. • Responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of the Slate CRM and act as the primary Slate Captain. • Perform system configuration maintenance, enhancement, and quality control processes for all online applications, forms, decisions, application review, communication, events, and portals. • Ensure accuracy, high quality, and integrity of data entered into admission systems and Colleague SIS through assessment and quality control reviews and audits. • Maintain data imports and integration with external partners. • Develop and maintain operational training materials and manuals. • Provide system training and onboarding for staff. • Serve as the primary technical liaison for Slate CRM with internal campus partners, i.e., Information Technology, Registrar, Academic Advising. • Be an active member of the Slate community, such as attending the annual Slate Summit conference as needed, webinars, and other professional development opportunities. • Assist with large-scale admissions events, i.e., open houses, admitted student days, etc. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the AVP and/or VP for Enrollment Management.

Risk if job responsibilities are not carried out accurately and effectively:

Failure to provide outstanding customer service could result in establishing an unwelcoming atmosphere for prospective students and their families, thus creating a poor image of the University as a whole. Providing inaccurate information could negatively impact a student who is seeking admission to the University. Failure to carry out these important aspects of this position could negatively impact the Universitys image and hence our recruitment efforts.

Level of supervisory oversight:

Minimal. This position is a leadership role within the Admissions and Enrollment Management office. This position must be able to independently carry out job responsibilities with minimal oversight.

Education and Skills Required:

• Bachelors degree required • Masters or advanced degree in a related area preferred • Advanced experience with an admissions CRM, preferably Technolutions Slate • Experience with a Student Information System, Ellucian Colleague experience preferred • Prior managerial/supervisory experience, a minimum of three years is preferred • Experience working with data and complex systems, structures, and demonstrated passion for using refining and implementing technology • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and to prioritize workloads according to volume, urgency, etc. • Working knowledge of the following languages: SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary Range:

In compliance with NYCs Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000.
