    Director of Administrative Systems and Digital Transformation
     
    Position Summary: 
    Oklahoma Christian University invites applications for a Director of Administrative Systems and Digital Transformation. This position provides leadership for key administrative and student-service systems and serves as a liaison between university leadership, departments, Information Technology, and technology partners. The Director will oversee the continued development of DegreeSight and Ellucian Student Planning while supporting the University's transition to Ellucian Colleague SaaS. The position will also identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, strengthen system use, and enhance services for students, faculty, and staff.

    Responsibilities:
    Enterprise Systems Leadership
    • Provide strategic and operational oversight for designated administrative and student-success systems, including DegreeSight and Ellucian Student Planning.
    • Serve as a primary liaison between university departments, leadership, Information Technology, software vendors, and implementation partners.
    • Coordinate system configuration, testing, upgrades, documentation, and ongoing improvements.
    • Monitor system performance, data accuracy, user needs, and system adoption and recommend enhancements as needed.

    Colleague SaaS Migration

    • Support the planning and implementation of the University's transition to Ellucian Colleague SaaS.
    • Coordinate with University departments, Information Technology, Ellucian, and other project partners throughout the migration.
    • Support requirements gathering, process reviews, testing, data validation, training, communication, and implementation activities.
    • Track project progress, identify risks and challenges, and communicate updates and recommendations to University leadership.

    Business Process & Student Service Improvement

    • Work with departments to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve administrative processes.
    • Help departments resolve system, registration, data, and workflow issues and coordinate solutions across departments.
    • Support the HUB (Student Service Center) in developing efficient processes and providing effective service to students.
    • Evaluate system integrations and data exchanges to promote accurate and consistent information.
    • Assist with change management and communication related to new systems and processes.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    ​Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, higher education administration, project management, or a related field.
    • 8 or more years of experience with student information systems and higher education administrative processes.
    • Experience with Ellucian Colleague, Ellucian Student Planning, DegreeSight, or comparable systems.
    • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with technical and nontechnical teams.
    • Demonstrate discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
    • Active member of a local church and aligned with OC’s Christian mission.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with enterprise system implementation or migration projects.
    • Experience supervising employees, consultants, or cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with business-process improvement and change management.
