Position Details Position Purpose
In support of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, the Director of Academic Success provides strategic leadership and support at the Oakland University and William Beaumont University Hospital campuses for academic support/learning assistance, career advising, and program development. The Director will lead the Academic Success Team, supervise the monitoring of all student progress, and manage accommodation implementation for disability support. The Director will serve as a generalist career advisor for M1-M4 students as part of the Career Advising Team. The Director will work independently to prioritize assignments and strategies to achieve the mission of the School of Medicine under the direct supervision of the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.
