Director Northeast Home Medical Equipment

Full Time Days

St. Peter's Health Partners is looking for an experienced leader to join our team as Director of Northeast Home Medical Equipment (NHME).

NEHME is a non-profit regional medical equipment/home respiratory therapy company with a 25 year proven track record for growth and flexibility in adapting to environmental changes. NEHME is an affiliate of The Eddy, St. Peter's Health Partners and Trinity Health.

In this role, the Director will be primarily responsible for the overall administration, management and development of Northeast Home Medical Equipment (NEHME) including development of program plans and goals, budget, inventory and asset management, and marketing and staffing plans. The Director is responsible for ensuring all state and federal regulations are met as well as ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. Additionally responsible for business development strategies and Quality Improvement plans as well as a compliance plan. The leader in this role works with vendors and payers to ensure best pricing and reimbursement for services provided and ensures that stellar customer service is provided throughout the service continuum from referral to delivery and beyond.

Requirements:

  • Education/Degree: Bachelor's degree preferred or 3-5 years of experience in related fields.
  • NYS Driver's license required.
  • Respiratory therapy license preferred but not required.

Experience Requirements:

  • Must have at least two years of previous management experience in home medical equipment and have a strong understanding of DME regulations, reimbursement systems, operations and accreditation standards.

Pay Range: $40.00 - $52.80 hourly / $83,200.00 - $109,824.00

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
