The Director, Marketing Planning & Integration is the connective layer between marketing strategy, planning, and execution. This role partners with Marketing to operationalize and translate approved enterprise and marketing priorities into an integrated marketing plan, establishes the operating cadence that keeps teams aligned against that plan, and drives the structure, visibility, and accountability required to move initiatives from strategy through execution—ultimately helping Marketing deliver stronger business and guest outcomes.
Working across Brand, Creative, Digital, Loyalty/CRM, Social, PR, Marketing Data & Analytics, and Member & Guest Services, this role connects priorities across teams, surfaces dependencies and competing demands, clarifies decisions and handoffs, and removes barriers that can slow progress or compromise results. The Director creates shared visibility into the marketing plan and helps ensure teams have the information, forums, tools, and cross-functional connections needed to execute effectively.
The Director also serves as a critical bridge between Marketing and Enterprise Strategy, Innovation, Culinary, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT—connecting the right partners at the right time and helping ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with broader business priorities, operationally ready for execution, and positioned for the strongest possible outcome.
Marketing retains accountability for marketing strategy, brand and campaign strategy, priorities, audience and messaging decisions, creative and channel decisions, execution, and business results. This role is accountable for creating the conditions that help Marketing perform at its best and achieve the best possible results—stewarding integrated planning, accelerating alignment, creating transparency, removing obstacles, and helping teams continuously optimize how work gets done. This role operates at the portfolio/program level, establishing the overarching structure within which Marketing project managers and functional teams execute individual workstreams.
