Role Description
" Run Executive Steering Committee and Steering Committee meetings with CFO, VP Supply Chain
" Set savings targets, manage budget/projections, track gainshare performance
" Review and approve savings opportunities identified by the clinical and non-clinical managers
" Manage the team direct reports include managers, consultants, analysts
" Client relationship owner the "face of Optum" to the hospital's leadership
" Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to new business proposals

Required Skills
" 8+ years healthcare supply chain or consulting
" 3+ years in a director/leadership role with direct team management
" Has led multi-million dollar supply chain engagements or cost reduction programs
" Comfortable presenting to C-suite (CEO, CFO, COO)
" Understands both clinical (implants, med/surg) AND non-clinical (purchased services, facilities) categories
" Client experience has contributed to proposals, client pitches
