The Director Long Term Services and Support is an integral member of the Select Health South Carolina Medical Management Team.
Work Arrangement:
+ Fully Remote
+ Must Reside in South Carolina; with
+ Travel throughout the state will be required
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as primary LTSS subject matter expert and leader responsible for coordinating, overseeing, directing all health plan LTSS operations, inclusive of internal and external communications, regulatory requirements, network development, systems integration, and clinical programs.
+ Serve as primary lead for orchestrating and disseminating state specific program development to ensure departmental alignment with core goals and objectives.
+ Support coordination of LTSS with other services across the continuum of care striving to enhance the quality of member care and provider satisfaction, including participation on multidisciplinary care teams as indicated.
+ Accountable for maintaining operational processes, policy and procedures to support LTSS care delivery.
+ Provide oversight of systems development, customization, modifications, integration and enhancements to ensure optimal performance.
+ Assume lead role and serve as primary source of contact when collaborating with state agencies such as SCDHHS and key stakeholders for all LTSS related deliverables
+ Ensure quality and performance metrics are consistently met regarding LTSS
+ Be the primary source of contact with South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services regarding LTSS.
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelor's Degree with 5 to 10 years' experience.
+ Previous management experience including hiring, training and performance management.
+ Thorough knowledge of Long Term Care and Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) guidelines, rules and requirements.
