Wage: 164500.00 To 193600.00 (USD) Annually JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:The Director, International Consumer & Growth Insights will build and operationalize the capabilities, tools, and routines that turn consumer understanding and data into a competitive growth advantage across international markets. This leader will connect fragmented research, data, and market learning into a practical, accessible view of the consumer; identify scalable growth opportunities; and enable teams to make major business decisions using consistent evidence rather than intuition. This international role spans consumer insight, analytics, and AI-enabled intelligence.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop a multi-market understanding of consumers, occasions, behaviors, motivations, unmet needs, and barriers to purchase, and use this to create a common view of the Pizza Hut consumer.Identify emerging cultural, category, and behavioral shifts that could create future growth opportunities or risks.Bring an outside-in perspective from QSR and adjacent consumer categories, translating relevant practices into actionable ideas for the business.Convert consumer understanding into clear implications for brand strategy, innovation, menu, value, digital experience, loyalty, and channel growth.Build and manage an international consumer insights repository that consolidates existing research, market studies, brand tracking, segmentation, cultural intelligence, and relevant internal and external data into an accessible single source of truth.Lead an initial audit and synthesis of current available insight across markets and functions, identifying what is known, where evidence conflicts, and where critical knowledge gaps remain.Develop a clear taxonomy, governance model, and refresh process so insight is searchable, comparable across markets, and kept current over time.Use AI-enabled search, summarization, and synthesis to make existing knowledge easier to access, connect themes across sources, and reduce duplication of research.Translate the repository into recurring cross-market perspectives on the consumer, key growth questions, and priority learning needs for international and regional leadership.Build and operationalize an International Consumer Measurement Framework that establishes common KPI definitions, harmonizes consumer metrics across markets, creates a centralized knowledge repository, and provides a consistent, AI-enabled source of truth for consumer insights and business performance.Integrate consumer research with transaction, CRM, digital, loyalty, social, operational, and external market data to create a connected view of performance and opportunity.Build repeatable measurement frameworks that link insight and marketing activity to consumer behavior and business outcomes.Champion the responsible use of generative AI, machine learning, and automation to improve the speed, depth, and accessibility of insights.Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and partners and determine where they can create meaningful advantage versus simply adding complexity.Establish appropriate standards for data quality, validation, privacy, and human judgment in AI-supported insight generation.Build and implement a modern international insights operating model, agenda, and toolkit that markets can adopt efficiently across different levels of capability.Partner closely with Marketing, Innovation, Digital, Technology, Finance, Commercial, and regional teams to embed consumer-led and data-driven decision making.Serve as a trusted thought partner to international and regional leaders, framing priority business questions and challenging assumptions with evidence.Coach teams on how to seek and convert insights into action.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:12-15+ years of progressive experience in Consumer Insights, Analytics, Strategy, Growth Intelligence, or a related discipline, including leadership at the enterprise or regional level.Demonstrated experience across multiple consumer categories, such as QSR, FMCG/CPG, retail, e-commerce, technology, hospitality, or consumer services, with the ability to transfer learning across sectors.Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative consumer research, including segmentation, need states, demand spaces, concept and communication development, brand tracking, and behavioral understanding.Strong hands-on analytical capability, including the ability to interrogate datasets, understand methodology, identify patterns, and pressure-test conclusions rather than relying solely on specialist teams or agencies.Experience integrating consumer, transactional, digital, and market data to develop commercially relevant insights.Experience building or modernizing enterprise insight repositories, knowledge-management platforms, or integrated consumer intelligence systems, including the synthesis of fragmented legacy research and data.Practical experience applying AI, advanced analytics, or automation to research and insight workflows.Proven ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders in a complex, international, or multi-market organization.Bachelor's degree required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Advanced degree in a relevant field is advantageous but not essential. Background in international consumer businesses, including FMCG/CPG, QSR, retail, e-commerce, hospitality, financial services, or consumer technology.Experience in leading insight, analytics, or strategy consultancies with demonstrated ownership of business outcomes and senior stakeholder influence.Hybrid career experience combining client-side insights with analytics, strategy, innovation, or digital transformation roles.A modern insight leadership profile that combines consumer curiosity, analytical discipline, commercial judgment, and the ability to build capability across markets. The posted salary range is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, well consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
