Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Imaging Services assists with the development, interpretation and application of department policies, along with budgets and long range plans. Provides administrative direction on all imaging modalities for immediate adjustment of operations as needed. This individual leads the Imaging departments in maintaining a culture of safety and excellence in customer service.

What you will do in the role:

  • Responsible for leading, enhancing, directing, monitoring and controlling all operational serviced in the Imaging Department to ensure cost efficient, high quality patient care.
  • This position is accountable for assessing, planning, developing, implementing and coordinating strategies and tactics of Imaging Services to achieve optimal performance, cost efficiency, growth, clinical superiority and market leadership.
  • Responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.

What qualifications you will need:

  • (ARRT-R) Radiography required
  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer license required
  • Bachelors degree, Masters Degree
  • Minimal 3 years clinical experience in Imaging. 3+ years managerial experience in a hospital setting.
