Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Director HR Process Transformation. Summary: We are seeking an experienced Director, HR Process Transformation & PM to lead HR transformation initiatives, process improvement efforts, and enterprise-wide project management activities. This role partners with HR leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable HR processes, optimize operational efficiency, and support organizational change initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong HR knowledge, project management expertise, process improvement experience, and leadership capabilities to drive strategic HR programs and business transformation efforts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead HR transformation initiatives focused on process optimization, operational excellence, and employee experience improvements
  • Manage complex HR and cross-functional projects from planning through implementation and post-launch support
  • Partner with HR, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, Learning, and business leaders to identify and implement process improvements
  • Evaluate and redesign HR workflows, policies, procedures, and service delivery models
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Drive change management efforts, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new processes and technologies
  • Establish project governance, reporting frameworks, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Analyze HR processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement automation opportunities
  • Support HR technology implementations, upgrades, integrations, and system optimization initiatives
  • Prepare executive reporting, status updates, business cases, and presentations for leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop project teams while fostering collaboration and accountability
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Transformation, Project Management, Business Process Improvement, or related functions
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation or organizational change initiatives
  • Strong project management experience with multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Experience working with HR systems, HR service delivery models, and process improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to lead initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Prosci, or related certification
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, or similar systems
  • Experience leading digital transformation and automation initiatives
  • Consulting, professional services, or large enterprise experience
  • Leadership experience managing project teams or HR operations teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
