    • Leads the team through strategic planning and development of global sourcing platform to deliver high quality products with costing structure that delivers positive margin growth
    • Acts as key link between all internal and external stakeholders including Merchandising, Planning / Allocation, IT, Finance, Vendors, Legal and Supply Chain
    • Utilizes change management skills to introduce new initiatives, influence teams and effectively implement processes
    • Manages teams / stakeholders on overall sourcing strategy and calendar management to achieve each sourcing milestone and deliver on time product
    • Responsible for effective cost negotiations, quality production, on-time shipments and

    overall execution for assigned product categories

    • Strategic Orientation: significant experience leveraging business acumen, market intelligence and insight to drive broad strategic impact across a business
    • Proven ability to assess and adapt to dynamic business environment
    • Reinforces supplier management processes to ensure products are ordered on-time, suppliers understand and adhere to expectations, costs are minimized, supplier performance is tracked and packaging / quality issues are addressed
    • Acts as key subject matter expert on all facets of direct importing process and strategy
    • Experience hiring and leading diverse teams

    Physical Requirements:

    This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
