    Job Summary

    The Director, Global Product Management & Marketing will provide strategic and operational leadership for a global product management organization supporting multiple business lines and international markets.

    The position will lead a team of product management professionals while partnering closely with marketing, engineering, sales, operations, and senior leadership to establish a unified global product strategy. The Director will be responsible for translating business strategy and market opportunities into actionable product roadmaps, investment priorities, innovation initiatives, lifecycle decisions, and go-to-market strategies.

    A major focus of the role will be strengthening and standardizing product management practices across multiple businesses, improving collaboration between functions, identifying portfolio opportunities and redundancies, and establishing a more consistent customer- and market-driven approach to product development.

    The ideal leader will combine strategic vision with strong execution and will be comfortable operating in a global, matrixed, acquisition-oriented environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and develop a global team of Product Managers and marketing professionals, establishing a high-performing, collaborative, and accountable organization.
    • Develop and execute a unified global product strategy across multiple business lines, including product roadmaps, portfolio priorities, innovation, lifecycle management, and SKU rationalization.
    • Partner closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and senior leadership to align customer needs, product development, commercial priorities, and business objectives.
    • Drive market and competitive intelligence, pricing and positioning, voice-of-customer initiatives, and strategies that support revenue and margin growth.
    • Oversee new product development and commercialization from market requirements through launch and post-launch performance.
    • Lead the development of digital product strategies and solutions within a technical, hardware-focused B2B environment.
    • Present portfolio strategy, performance, and investment priorities to executive leadership and represent the organization with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
    • Support global planning, forecasting, and strategic growth initiatives, including acquisition integration and expansion into adjacent markets.

    Requirements

    • 10+ years of progressive product management experience in a B2B, manufacturing, industrial, technology, or technical environment.
    • 4+ years of experience leading and developing Product Management teams, including experience managing globally dispersed teams.
    • Proven ability to develop product strategy, establish roadmaps, manage portfolios, and translate strategy into measurable business results.
    • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, margin improvement, innovation, or market expansion.
    • Strong experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and executive leadership.
    • Experience with product lifecycle management, new product development, commercialization, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
    • Experience supporting digital products, connected solutions, or digital strategy in a B2B environment.
    • Strong business, financial, analytical, communication, and executive leadership skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

    Preferred Requirements

    • MBA or advanced degree.
    • Experience in industrial technology, electrical products, engineered equipment, infrastructure, transportation, aerospace, aviation, marine, or another highly regulated technical industry.
    • Experience leading product organizations across North America, Europe, Australia, or other international markets.
    • Experience integrating acquired businesses, consolidating product portfolios, or leading organizational transformation.
    • Technical background in electrical systems, application engineering, or related disciplines.
    • Experience with Agile, Stage-Gate, or other structured product development methodologies.
    • Experience developing digital strategies within traditionally hardware-focused organizations.
    • Experience with strategic OEM, channel, or technology partnerships.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base Salary: $150,000–$225,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
    • Annual Incentive: Target bonus opportunity of approximately 20%.
    • Equity: Eligible for long-term equity compensation, including restricted stock units and performance-based awards.
    • Long-Term Incentive Opportunity: Equity awards are generally subject to a multi-year vesting schedule and may be awarded annually based on company and individual performance.
    • Performance-Based Compensation: Compensation programs are designed to reward individual and business performance.
    • Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
    • Travel: Approximately 30% travel, including domestic and international travel to company facilities, customers, partners, and industry events.

    Near Brentwood, Tennessee

    The position is based in the greater Nashville area and is expected to have a significant presence with company leadership, employees, customers, and cross-functional teams. Candidates should be prepared for regular domestic and international travel associated with the global scope of the role.
