1.0 Job Title Director of Global Procurement
Location: Northern Atlanta Suburb (TBD), with ~25% travel
Company: Sport Group
2.0 Objective This global position will develop and execute the strategies for improving Global Procurement
(Direct, Indirect and Procurement Operations (operating model)) to deliver cost savings, improve working capital
(payment terms) and ensure business continuity.
3.0 Responsibilities
Design, build and lead global Procurement team
Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies across major Raw Materials and Third-Party
Manufacturers to drive cost improvement and ensure business continuity
Drive working capital reduction through increased payment terms with suppliers
Develop local procurement personnel to optimize procurement including local sourcing and negotiation
Implement robust P2P processes to ensure data visibility and compliance
Create comprehensive process and performance dashboards to track cost savings and working capital
improvement
4.0 Authorities
Direct reports to be determined based on organizational structure, but likely team of 10-15 FTE
Total addressable spend ~$500MM across direct and indirect spend, globally

6.0 Required Knowledge and Abilities
Essential:
Global leadership experience leading a procurement team, preferably including in the chemicals industry
Proven ability to design and build a successful procurement organization
Proven ability to develop people and create bench strength
History of leading successful negotiations to drive cost savings and extending payment terms
Fast-paced, aggressive leader with successful negotiation track record
Desirable:
Experience implementing digital procurement tools to create dashboards and customer scorecards as well as
utilizing spend cube to identify savings opportunities
Private equity experience
