Role Summary
The Director, Global Head of Identity will lead the enterprise Identity and Access Management strategy across a highly complex, hybrid technology environment. This role is critical in ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient access to systems that support tens of thousands of users worldwide. The leader in this role will drive IAM transformation initiatives, modernize identity platforms, and align security posture with Zero Trust principles across the organization.
This position oversees the full identity lifecycle, leads cross functional teams, and partners closely with architecture, security, and business leaders to reduce risk while enabling productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the global IAM strategy aligned with enterprise security and business goals
Lead large scale IAM transformation initiatives, including modernization and automation efforts
Oversee identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance
Architect and manage authentication and authorization frameworks using modern identity protocols
Drive adoption and optimization of Microsoft identity technologies in hybrid environments
Ensure effective privileged access management and compliance with security standards
Partner with IT, security, and business stakeholders to improve access efficiency and reduce risk
Build, mentor, and lead high performing IAM teams at enterprise scale
Key Requirements
10 plus years of experience in Identity and Access Management within enterprise environments
5 plus years of leadership experience at the Manager or Director level or higher
Proven track record leading IAM transformation and modernization initiatives
Strong expertise in identity lifecycle management, provisioning workflows, and access governance
Hands on experience with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC
Experience operating in hybrid identity environments using Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, and M365
Knowledge of Privileged Access Management solutions such as CyberArk or similar tools
Familiarity with identity platforms like Okta and automation driven IAM processes preferred
Experience supporting large organizations with 100,000 plus users strongly preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
