The Director, Flex and Installments Product Development, Issuance will own and drive the growth and enhancement of Visa’s Flex and Installments product suite, which includes Visa Flexible Credential, Visa Installment Credential, Visa Installment Solutions, Visa Transaction Matching Service, Visa Embedded Credential Platform, and future product lines and services. Flex and Installments are key for modernizing credential capability, enabling new income streams, new entrants for faster distribution and accomplishing top-of-wallet status for issuers. This Director will product development enhancements and critical key initiatives to unlock new payment volume aligned to strategic growth imperatives.
Reporting to the Senior Director, this leader will focus on accelerating acceptance growth as well as overall client experience by delivering integrated product experiences, features, and capabilities that address the needs of token requestors, digital wallet providers and even traditional acquirers in a highly competitive landscape and regulatory environment. The role requires a deep understanding of the four-party ecosystem, card-based payments and experiences, with a primary emphasis on the acceptance side, while also understanding the integration points across buyers, issuers, acquirers, sellers, and technology platforms.
This position will be nimble in nature and lead squads of 3–6 highly skilled senior product managers, design and engineering, requiring strong ability to drive outcomes in a matrixed organization. The Director will work closely with various teams across Visa to successfully build, commercialize and scale our business service in new ways, which includes Flex and Installments Product (Issuance), Product Strategy, Solution Enablement, Platform Products, Tokens, OVN. The Director will independently lead drive team outcomes as well focused on authoring requirements, roadmap, prioritization, execution status and delivery, while ensuring commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
This role is global and will need to balance regional and global opportunities to achieve overall solution and platform objectives. Accomplishing this will require ability to drive prioritization decisions, collaborate cross-functionally and influence a complex and highly matrixed organization and provide leadership and clear vision to direct and indirect teams.
