Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support ION and other technology used by Rates and Interest-Rate Swap traders
- Monitor electronic trading connectivity, pricing feeds, interfaces, and execution workflows
- Lead production-incident response, escalation, recovery, and stakeholder communication
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative measures
- Serve as a senior technology partner to traders, sales, Middle Office, and Operations
- Coordinate requirements, testing, releases, upgrades, venue onboarding, and production validation
- Manage escalations across Development, Infrastructure, Networking, Market Data, vendors, and trading venues
- Support audit, compliance, SOX, access reviews, recovery procedures, and operational controls
- Improve monitoring, automation, documentation, resilience, and support processes
- Mentor junior technology and support personnel
Role Requirements:
- At least 10 years of relevant financial-services technology experience
- Strong knowledge of interest-rate swaps and Rates trading workflows
- Hands-on experience supporting ION trading applications
- Experience with Tradeweb and Bloomberg D2C
- Fixed Income, Rates, Swaps, or OTC Derivatives technology experience
- Strong production-support, incident-management, and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of electronic trading connectivity and front-to-back processing
- Experience leading implementations, releases, upgrades, or platform changes
- Excellent business and technical communication
- Ability to work flexible hours when required by trading or production activity
- Ability to follow the required New York City hybrid schedule
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- SQL and Linux
- Murex
- Additional Fixed Income product knowledge
- Jira and project-management experience
- Excel, scripting, monitoring, automation, or observability
- Regulatory and operational-control experience
