The Team You'll Join

The Financial Systems team at Envestnet plays a critical role in powering the technology behind the company's finance operations, building and enhancing the systems that support reporting, reconciliation, and the close process. Partnering closely with Finance stakeholders, the team develops integrations, dashboards, and automation within Oracle Fusion to ensure accurate, scalable, and efficient financial data flow across the organization. By combining deep technical expertise with business insight, they drive continuous improvement in how financial processes are executed-making it an exciting space for those who enjoy solving complex problems at the intersection of finance and technology.

How You'll Contribute

Provides leadership and oversight for the Financial Systems Program Management group. Oversees team efforts to drive the planning and delivery of complex technology initiatives that support the company''s wealth management and fintech platforms, with integrated cybersecurity considerations throughout the lifecycle. Coordinates cross-functional teams - including product, engineering, UX, operations, and cybersecurity - to align scope, timelines, budgets, and risks with business and regulatory goals. Ensures consistent governance, transparency, and execution across multiple projects and portfolios, incorporating security, data protection, and compliance requirements into delivery frameworks. Proactively identifies and mitigates technology and cybersecurity risks in partnership with security and compliance teams. Through effective management, enables scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that create value for clients and partners.

Financial Systems delivers Oracle Fusion, EPM, integration, analytics, and homegrown application work for the entire CFO organization, through five director-led technical functions and a portfolio of concurrent programs. This role owns how that portfolio is planned, sequenced, reported, and evidenced - including the change-management and access-governance framework that keeps Financial Systems audit-ready, and serves as the team''s front door to Internal Audit and external auditors on change and access evidence.

  • Leads a team or teams responsible for a medium-sized portfolio of projects with limited and, occasionally, moderate complexity.
  • Ensures that all leadership and facilitation methods adhere to established project management methodology, including Lean / Agile when appropriate.
  • Contributes to productivity and efficiency improvement of IT / Technology teams.
  • Consults and advises project leaders, product owners and other stakeholders on issue resolution strategies and change management.
  • Ensures effective controls are in place, and consistent with project management methodologies, to monitor the full project lifecycle.
  • Ensures that critical outcomes are met for each project, program and/or portfolio.
  • Engages with business leaders to ensure their needs and expectations are understood, documented and met.
  • Partners with cybersecurity and compliance teams to identify risks, support audits and track remediation of security vulnerabilities within project and program timelines.
  • Develops strategies to resolve key issues escalated by project managers and/or sponsors.
  • Owns the portfolio risk and issue register: keeps it current, keeps every item''s owner named, and escalates to the Head of Financial Systems against a clear threshold rather than by volume.
  • Owns the change-tier classification model and applies it consistently across third-party SaaS configuration (Oracle Fusion, NetSuite, BlackLine), homegrown applications, and integration workflows.
  • Chairs the Change Advisory Board and owns its approval workflow and evidence capture; independently verifies vendor-reported service-level performance and credits before they are accepted.
  • Serves as the team''s primary point of contact for Internal Audit and external auditors on change-management and access-control evidence, and owns the evidence packages end to end.
  • Leads the Finance Systems Operations Lead, who owns intake, triage, and production-support coordination across the application portfolio.

What You'll Need to Bring

  • Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
  • Program & portfolio management: Dependency mapping, critical-path analysis, resource-contention resolution, and risk-register design across five or more concurrent technical workstreams.
  • Change governance: Tiered risk classification, segregation-of-duties design (the person who prepares a change is not the person who approves it), and proportionate control testing.
  • SOX / ITGC literacy: Change-management and access-control objectives (for example COBIT BAI06, BAI07, DSS05, DSS06), fluent enough to build and defend a framework Internal Audit accepts without translation.
  • Delivery tooling: Jira and Confluence at an administrative level, including workflow, database, and dashboard configuration.
  • AI-assisted operations: Comfortable directing tools such as Claude or Copilot for drafting, synthesis, and reporting, and disciplined about verifying output before it is audit- or leadership-facing.
  • Enterprise application literacy: Oracle Fusion, EPM/FCCS, and adjacent finance systems, enough to read a configuration export or a BRD and hold a substantive conversation with a platform owner without needing to configure the platform yourself.

Nice-to-Haves

  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent program-management certification
  • Direct experience on an Oracle Fusion or EPM/FCCS implementation
  • Experience partnering with Internal Audit or external auditors (Big 4 or equivalent) on control design or evidence review
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry where change governance carries real audit exposure
  • Ability to run direct SQL or API queries against an ERP or cloud data warehouse (Oracle Fusion, Snowflake, or equivalent) to independently verify reported figures
  • Familiarity with an iPaaS platform such as Workato, enough to understand what a given integration change affects
  • Experience managing or mentoring an operations-coordination function
