The Director of Finance will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive financial strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives. This role will foster a culture of collaboration and financial discipline, ensuring close alignment with cross-functional leaders and providing clear guidance on financial processes, governance, and decision-making.
This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in financial planning, analysis, and performance management within the HVAC distribution industry. The Director will balance enterprise priorities with local business needs, leveraging insights and resources from the parent company to drive profitability, support sustainable growth, and enhance operational efficiency across all distributorships.
The Director of Finance will play a critical role in delivering actionable financial insights, strengthening internal controls, and guiding leadership through data-driven decision-making to increase market share and improve overall business performance. This position is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity, optimizing resource allocation, and building strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
This position can be based in any of the regions in which Rheem operates its distribution network and will both lead the sourcing efforts of Rheem Air Distribution as well as spearhead cross-business unit opportunities for shared categories and suppliers between RAD and our Rheem Parts Division. Our ideal candidate is located near one of our Rheem Air Distribution location headquarters, including Houston, TX, Kimberly, WI, Islandia, NY, Burlington, NJ, or Dayton, OH. This is NOT a remote position and will be in-office at the closest RAD location.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study
Minimum of 10+ years of finance experience, with a focus in the HVAC industry, aftermarket, parts & supplies or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working in a complex, global manufacturing environment
Excellent facilitation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with keen attention to detail and accuracy in messaging
Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix environment
Ability to enable organization and drive solutions
Strong managerial, financial, and analytical skill
Accuracy and attention to details

The pay scale for this position $154,900 - $284,148. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
