Overview:
The Director, Enterprise Technology provides strategic leadership, governance, and executive oversight for SHRM's enterprise technology environment, ensuring technology capabilities are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with SHRM's organizational priorities. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role develops and executes the enterprise technology strategy while governing a co-sourced technology operating model that combines internal leadership with an external managed services provider.
The Director serves as SHRM's senior technology advisor, establishing technology strategy, governance, investment priorities, and vendor accountability while ensuring operational excellence through effective oversight of internal stakeholders and external technology partners. This position partners closely with executive leadership to modernize infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity, improve service delivery, optimize technology investments, and enable innovation that advances SHRM's organizational objectives.
Work Environment
Hybrid Schedule (3 Days In-Office/2 Days Remote)
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesday through Thursday in office and Monday and Friday remote. Employees must be available during standard business hours, with core hours beginning between 8:00-9:00 a.m. and concluding between 5:00-6:00 p.m. local time.
Travel: Occasional 0 - 10%
The hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
