    The Opportunity

    As an expansion hire, this Senior Marketing Strategy Director role sits at the intersection of B2B marketing strategy, digital advertising, demand generation, and executive client advisory. Partnering with the sales team during late-stage deal cycles, you will become the primary strategic owner for a portfolio of B2B client accounts—guiding marketing strategy, driving platform adoption, strengthening retention, and identifying opportunities to grow client relationships.This role offers the strategic and consultative aspects of an agency environment without requiring the Senior Marketing Strategy Director to personally handle the day-to-day execution of campaigns. The ideal candidate is someone who can take a client’s marketing objectives and advertising investment, determine what is working, identify what needs to change, and connect marketing activity directly to pipeline, revenue, and ROI.

    Location

    This is a Tampa / Clearwater Metro Areabased opportunity;  in-office in the Clearwater office. Travel is expected for client onboarding, important strategic meetings, QBRs, and other high-value client engagements.

    What You Will Do

    • Act as the primary post-sale strategic owner for a portfolio of B2B client accounts, driving onboarding, account health, adoption, retention, and expansion.
    • Collaborate with sales during late-stage deal cycles to understand client needs, shape the strategic approach, scope onboarding and services, and ensure a strong transition from sales to client management.
    • Develop and advise on multi-channel digital advertising and demand generation strategies, including audience strategy, channel mix, budget allocation, content, and campaign experimentation.
    • Advise clients on how to allocate marketing and advertising investment to generate qualified pipeline, revenue, and measurable ROI.
    • Analyze campaign and funnel performance to identify what is working, diagnose underperformance, and recommend strategic changes.
    • Consult with and challenge marketing leaders and executive stakeholders using data and performance insights to improve marketing outcomes.
    • Build relationships across multiple levels of the client organization, from day-to-day marketing contacts through VP and CMO-level stakeholders.
    • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and adapting strategy to different businesses, audiences, and marketing challenges.
    • Provide strategic direction to internal account and marketing resources responsible for campaign execution and support.
    • Conduct strategic business reviews and communicate performance, recommendations, and opportunities to senior client stakeholders.

    Who You Are

    • Experience: 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing strategy, digital advertising, performance marketing, demand generation, agency account leadership, or a closely related environment.
    • Paid Media Expertise: Strong understanding of digital advertising and paid media, with the ability to evaluate campaign performance, advise on channel strategy, and determine what is working and what needs to change. Experience across paid social, paid search, programmatic/display, ABM, or related channels is valuable.
    • Strategic Budget Management: Demonstrated experience advising on meaningful digital advertising and marketing budgets, including channel mix, budget allocation, optimization, and ROI. Experience with larger budgets is strongly preferred.
    • Client Advisory: Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and serve as a trusted strategic advisor to marketing leaders and executives.
    • Revenue & ROI Orientation: Ability to connect marketing strategy and advertising spend to pipeline, revenue, conversion performance, and overall business outcomes.
    • Executive Presence: Strong communication skills and the confidence to respectfully challenge clients, ask difficult questions, and make recommendations backed by data.
    • Multi-Account Management: Comfortable managing multiple clients, stakeholders, priorities, and marketing challenges simultaneously.
    • Commercial Mindset: Ability to identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships while maintaining a strong focus on client outcomes and retention.
    • Technology: Experience with digital advertising platforms, marketing technology, CRM/marketing automation systems, analytics tools, or enterprise SaaS solutions.
    Ideal Candidate Profile
    You are a strategic B2B marketer with strong client advisory experience who understands how digital advertising and demand generation translate into pipeline and revenue.You may come from an agency, B2B technology company, professional services organization, or another environment where you have managed complex marketing strategies and multiple stakeholders. Agency experience is particularly relevant given the need to context-switch across clients, prioritize competing demands, and quickly understand different businesses and marketing challenges.

    Education & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
