    How You'll Contribute:

    The Director, BI Platforms is a strategic technology leader responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously advancing Glaukos' enterprise business intelligence and data platform ecosystem. This role establishes the vision, architecture, governance, and operational strategy required to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure analytics capabilities across the organization. Partnering closely with Commercial Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, IT, and business stakeholders, the Director ensures that enterprise data platforms enable actionable insights, reporting excellence, and data-driven decision making. The role is accountable for platform roadmap development, technology investments, platform performance, and the leadership of teams responsible for data and BI platform delivery.

    What You'll Do:

    • Define and execute the enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmap for BI and data platforms aligned with organizational objectives and business priorities.
    • Lead the architecture, design, and evolution of enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT frameworks, and business intelligence solutions.
    • Partner with Commercial Business Intelligence, Analytics, and functional leaders to deliver scalable reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities.
    • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that improve data accessibility, platform scalability, performance, and user experience.
    • Establish and maintain governance standards for data quality, KPI definitions, reporting consistency, security, and access management.
    • Drive platform reliability, availability, performance optimization, lifecycle management, and operational excellence across all BI environments.
    • Translate business requirements into technology solutions, platform capabilities, and prioritized delivery plans.
    • Lead cross-functional programs including platform implementations, upgrades, migrations, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
    • Manage platform budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and technology investments to maximize business value and operational efficiency.
    • Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.

    How You'll Get There:

    • 12+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, or enterprise data platform leadership roles.
    • 5+ years of experience leading teams, technology programs, and enterprise-scale initiatives.
    • Proven experience developing and executing data platform strategies, roadmaps, and modernization programs.
    • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, cloud-based data platforms, and BI technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
    • Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
    • Master's degree or equivalent advanced education preferred.
    • This leadership role works onsite full time in Aliso Viejo, CA.
