We're looking for a full-time Director of Crisis Services, to join us at 1310 Chinook Lane in Pueblo.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Director of Crisis Services, you would be providing excellent oversight to members of the behavioral health teams to ensure we are providing exceptional care for our behavioral health clients. You would develop strategies, plans and goals that support the mission of the company and carry them out in an organized and productive manner

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Crisis Services works under the direction of the Vice President of Specialty Services or designee, to

  • Provides administrative, program and personnel management, include performance evaluation of self and staff in accordance with Health Solutions policies and procedures, employee guidelines, etc.
  • Provides formal supervision including written performance reviews of staff under the direction of this position in accordance with Center policy and procedures.
  • Provides oversight of employee interviews and oversees the hiring and terminations of department staff, as needed
  • Maintains and manages productivity standards utilization review
  • Keeps current on payer regulations and guidelines to assure staff is aware of all requirements for billing and documentation
  • Performs ongoing clinical data analysis to assess trends for training needs, compliance, quality monitoring and service changes.
  • Assesses and manages staff utilization, maintains daily analysis and response to productivity expectations
  • Is responsible for monitoring documentation of clinical staff to assure that they are accurate, complete and current
  • Assists in the development & monitoring of department budget
  • Develops and maintains professional working relationships with other Center departments and community agencies
  • Provides educational services to staff and to the community in coordination with the Staff Development Manager
  • Writes and enforces policies and procedures as needed or assigned
  • Maintains competency and proficiency with the Electronic Health Record, and providing up to date information on EHR changes to team and assigned staff, in addition to administrative meetings about company changes in policy and procedures
  • Is responsible for managing grants which includes tracking, report writing and data management
  • Provides administrative/supervisory coverage in the absence of another director, as assigned
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 20 pounds
  • Requires working under stress in emergency situations
  • Requires driving, at times in adverse weather conditions
  • Requires frequent operation of a computer

What we're looking For-The Must-Haves

  • Ph.D. in clinical psychology with one year post graduate experience in mental health treatment in a supervisory capacity; or a
  • Master's degree in a relevant mental health field from an accredited institution & 5 years post licensure experience in mental health treat, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity
  • Colorado licensed (i.e., PSY, LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
  • Excellence in written and oral communications
  • Valid Colorado driver's license and access to transportation during work hours
