Summary:

Oversees the creation of all strategic communications initiatives for Broward Health. Develops, coordinates, and supervises communication initiatives, including public/media relations, internal communications, publications, and executive communications. Provides support as needed to hospitals, ambulatory and service lines, as well as marketing, digital, and creative teams. Serves as a leader for executive and board of commissioners' communications.

Education:

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications.
• Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of related experience in corporate communications, including management.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with internal and external communications, executive communications, crisis communications, and strategic communications preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing skills strongly preferred.
