    The Role:

    As Director of Community and Social Impact Communications, you will engage and inspire associates and leaders to make a difference in the communities where we live and work.

    You will work in close partnership with Fidelity’s Community Relations, Social Impact,  Diversity and Inclusion, and Communications teams to develop and coordinate omnichannel communication campaigns. You will lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide and targeted messaging, including talking points, presentations, live events, and message across digital, enterprise, and social channels.

    The Experience and Skills You Bring

    • Bachelor’s Degree, 10+ years as a communications professional; experience with executive, internal, or external communications essential.

    • Proven success building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.

    • Strong storytelling, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

    • Experience delivering strategies and communications that effectively support adoption and engagement.

    • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fluid environment.

    • Ability to independently drive key components of communications and change management initiatives.

    • An innovative thinker who brings a creative mindset to solving problems.

    • Ability to use data and insights to effectively design, assess, and evolve communications strategies

    The Team

    Fidelity’s Corporate Communications team protects and strengthens the firm’s reputation, enables business priorities, and engages key stakeholders across the enterprise and marketplace through clear, consistent, and compelling communications.

    Working with the HR Communications team, you’ll help associates thrive and build long-term careers at Fidelity. We connect Fidelity leaders and associates with Fidelity's culture, careers, support resources, and community impact:

    • Informing and driving adoption of Fidelity’s people strategies, including talent development, compensation, benefits, policies, etc.

    • Supporting complex, large-scale initiatives through comprehensive change comms strategies designed to mobilize and equip associates and leaders

    • Advancing a diverse and inclusive culture and engaging associates in supporting youth and families in communities that we serve. 

    Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
    Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
