What We Offer
The Director, Clinical Quality and Research Programs provides strategic leadership and oversight for clinical quality, research, and programmatic initiatives for the Novant Health Abdominal Wall Reconstruction & Hernia Center.
The Director is accountable for developing and advancing the strategic direction for clinical research and quality programs, including research infrastructure. This is a highly patient-facing role that will provide direct patient engagement, support recruitment into clinical studies, guide patients through informed consent, and help coordinate longitudinal follow-up.
What You'll Do
The role will directly engage patients at the point of care by identifying eligible candidates, explaining research opportunities, supporting informed decision-making, coordinating consent, and maintaining follow-up contact after treatment. In addition to regulatory compliance, data platform development, outcomes reporting, clinical coordination, and dissemination of research findings, this direct patient care and recruitment function will distinguish the Center from a surgical program alone and position Novant Health for meaningful clinical growth, quality advancement, and national recognition.
