Your Role on the Expedition:

The Director, Business Development & Client Relations plays a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our organization’s reach. This person will be a working sales representative of the Organization, responsible for new sales and client acquisition. While this is a sales-focused role, this person will also oversee Marketing and Client Relations functions. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. You will be working closely with senior leadership to coordinate the high-level strategy to ensure client growth and retention, and your vision and leadership will be critical in shaping our company’s future success.

Chart Your Course:

Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
  • Create and execute plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones.

Partnership Building:

  • Cultivate relationships with potential partners, clients, and industry influencers.
  • Negotiate and close strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations.
  • Leverage existing networks to drive business growth.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Lead sales efforts by identifying target clients and creating compelling value propositions.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust tactics as needed.
  • Facilitate Account Management and positive stewardship with major accounts as necessary
  • Manage sales and account management budgets to align with fiscal goals while providing company with successful campaigns crucial for Company growth

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs.
  • Analyze data to inform decision-making and refine business development strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and competitive intelligence.

Team Leadership:

  • Help oversee sales and account management teams to ensure growth and retention initiatives are met and/or surpassed.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and finance teams to align business development efforts.
  • Ensure seamless execution of go-to-market strategies.

Your Ticket to Success:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 8-10 years sales experience within healthcare, medical or insurance sphere with strong preference towards cost containment.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree preferred

Position Coordinates:

This is a hybrid role based out of our Pembroke Pines, FL office. As a hybrid role, you will be working onsite 2-3 days a week and working from home 2-3 days a week. Up to 75% domestic or international travel required.

Time for Take-off:

While there is some flexibility in the hours, this position will be Monday-Friday during regular business hours (approximately 8:00am-5:00pm). Occasional overtime or working outside of regular business hours may be required according to business need.
