Description
Duties/Responsibilities
Identify and pursue business opportunities within aerospace and defense markets.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospeive customers, prime contractors, and government organizaitons.
Maintain and report the business development pipeline, including opportunities, RFQs, proposals, and upcoming solicitations.
Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Program Management to evaluate and respond to new opportunities.
Support proposal development, pricing activities, customer presentations, and bid/no-bid decisions.
Research customer priorities, market trends, competitors, and future programs.
Coordinate customer visits, facility tours, conferences, and trade shows.
Develop and maintain capability presentations, brochures, website content, and other marketing materials.
Support Press releases, company announcements, and external communications.
Provide regular updates to leadership on customer activity, pipeline status, and major opportunities.
Support strategic planning and development of annual and long-term growth objectives.
Represent the company professionally at customer and industry events.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, program management, or a related role.
Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with DoD customers, defense prime contractors, RFQs, and government contracting preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills
Ability to understand and communicate technical and manufacturing capabilities
Ability to travel as required.
