  • Maintain strong SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness, including vendor master data controls and fraud prevention.

Stabilization & Process Excellence

  • Assess current-state AP processes to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and operational risk.
  • Standardize and document AP processes across business units and locations.
  • Implement best practices in AP, including workflow management, exception handling, and centralized governance.
  • Build scalable operating models that support continued growth.

Systems Optimization & Transformation

  • Partner closely with IT to improve systems integration, data quality, reporting, and automation (RPA, AI-enabled invoice capture, EDI optimization).
  • Lead the AP technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and financial controls.
  • Use AI tools in your day-to-day work, such as analysis, reporting, and process improvement, and set the expectation for your team to do the same.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop a team of AP professionals across multiple locations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer and vendor service, and continuous improvement.
  • Assess talent capabilities, upgrade skill sets where needed, and build bench strength.
