Position Overview and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a large diverse team of professionals to deliver high-quality care in a positive and caring environment that uniquely meets the clients’ complex needs.
  • Enhance their quality of life through varied experiences such as community outings, team events, crafts, etc.
  • Adhere to established programs policies, procedures, and documentation, as well as follow clients Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) and Nursing Plans.
  • Monitor health and nutritional guidelines.
  • Use moderate computer skills to maintain accurate documentation and track critical data.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two continuous years of experience working with individuals with I/DD, including one year specifically supporting complex behaviors and medical needs.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Transporting client.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Covid vaccination encouraged.

Additional Skill Set:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Moderate computer skills.
  • Comfortable with medical and behavioral terminology and practices.
  • Experience with communication tools and electronic devices.
  • Safe driving skills.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability required every other weekend.
