About the Role:WE SUPPORT YOU LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in Rahway, NJ. Hours:- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 11:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9:00 AM–11:00 AM
- Wednesdays: 6:00 PM–8:00 PM
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, the individual works from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM in Piscataway. The DSP would transport the individual to and from work, as well as provide support while the individual is at work.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Transport and accompany clients to community activities, and social outings
- Foster independence, dignity, and community inclusion for all individuals served
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
