JOB TITLE: Direct Support Professional I/II

We’re looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our team and help individuals with disabilities learn, grow, and become more independent. If you have a passion for working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we want to meet YOU!
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Coaching in Daily Living Skills: Provide one-on-one coaching to support daily activities.
- Community Resource Education: Assist in using community resources.
- Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain ID notes and communication logs related to Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
- Household Support: Help with meal prep, maintaining a clean and organized home, budgeting, and transportation.
- Medication Management: Assist with medication and record keeping.
- Personal Care: Help with medical/dental appointments and all aspects of personal care.
- Social Skills Development: Support individuals in attending social activities to enhance social skills.
- Public Transportation Training: Teach program participants to use public transportation and access benefits like Social Security, SSI, IHSS, and Section 8 housing.
- Transfers Assistance: Help individuals with both weight-bearing and non-weight-bearing transfers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear live scan background check and physical
