Direct Support Professional I

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 / hourly

Schedule: 2nd shift, 3pm-11:00pm; Every other weekend/holiday

What You'll Do:

• Provide respectful, individualized support that promotes each person's health, safety, comfort, and well-being.

• Assist with daily living needs and help individuals participate in activities that support their independence and quality of life.

• Follow individualized treatment plans and support strategies, documenting progress and collecting information as required.

• Support individuals' medical and nutritional needs by following prescribed instructions, residential guidelines, and direction from nursing and medical professionals.

• Administer medications in accordance with applicable policies and requirements when appropriately trained and authorized.

• Accompany individuals to appointments and help them access needed services.

• Encourage meaningful relationships, social connections, communication, and participation in community activities.

• Assist with shopping and everyday activities that create opportunities for community engagement.

• Communicate openly with coworkers and nursing staff to maintain consistent, coordinated care.

• Participate in staff meetings, required training, and ongoing professional development.

• Maintain required training and certifications, including applicable medication administration, CPR, and First Aid requirements.

• Follow Seven Hills Foundation policies and procedures, including scheduling, crisis response, and communication expectations.

• Contribute to a positive, supportive environment where individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
