    Description

    We are seeking a compassionate and dependable professional to provide individualized support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live with dignity, independence, and connection in their communities. In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, encourage personal goals, and promote health, safety, and well-being in a respectful and person-centered environment.

    What You Will Do

    • Provide hands-on support with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal care, hygiene, dressing, and household routines.
    • Encourage skill development, independence, and participation in community activities.
    • Support individuals in following personal plans, schedules, and goals.
    • Assist with transportation to appointments, programs, errands, and recreational activities as needed.
    • Observe and document daily progress, support needs, and any changes in condition or behavior.
    • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all times.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other support professionals.
    • Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established procedures and care guidelines.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, older adults, or people with behavioral or physical support needs.
    • Previous experience in home care, human services, healthcare, or a related field.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, if required by the role.
    • CPR, First Aid, or other relevant certifications, when applicable.
