Job Summary


We are seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting.  DSPs play a critical role in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life while ensuring health and safety.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals in a group home and/or 1:1 setting
  
  
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
  
  
• Support individuals with community outings, appointments, and recreational activities
  
  
• Implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) and behavior support strategies
  
  
• Provide 1:1 supervision and redirection when required to ensure safety and emotional regulation
  
  
• Administer or assist with medications per physician orders and agency policy
  
  
• Accurately document daily notes, incident reports, and progress notes
  
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
  
  
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and families
  
  
• Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved techniques

Physical & Job Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and assist individuals as needed
  
  
• Ability to remain alert during shifts, including overnight shifts if applicable
  
  
• Ability to manage behaviors calmly and professionally
