Dower Personnel Services is currently hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for immediate opportunities in residential group homes throughout Maryland.

Position Details

Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour

Location: Residential Group Homes throughout Maryland

Shifts Available:

• Day
• Evening
• Overnight
• Weekend

Start Date: Immediate openings available

What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Promote independence, dignity, and community engagement.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
• Complete daily documentation and incident reports as required.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Transport individuals to approved appointments and community activities using client-authorized vehicles, when required.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered, you must have:

• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
• Current Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass required background screening
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Authorization to work in the United States

Training

Paid client-specific training is provided for selected candidates.

MANDT certification is not required to apply. Required client training will be provided after selection.

Referral Bonus

Dower Personnel Services LLC is offering a $50 referral bonus for successful DSP referrals.

To qualify, the preferred candidate must be a new candidate who is not already in our recruiting pipeline, must be selected for placement, must complete 30 days of active work, and must remain in good standing during that period.

Self-referrals are not eligible. The referral must be submitted before the candidate applies or begins the screening process. Only one referral bonus will be paid per candidate. Referral bonus payments are subject to verification and approval by Dower Personnel Services LLC.
