    Description

    PALS Downey is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in our Adult Day Program.

    In this role, you will provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual, developmental, behavioral, and/or trauma-related disabilities, helping them build independence, confidence, and everyday skills. Through community-based activities and meaningful experiences, you will encourage personal growth, social connection, and overall well-being. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, team-oriented, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others

    What Youll Do

    Work directly with one or more program participants (up to three at a time)

    Transport participants to and from the program and community activities using a personal vehicle. Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal care, communication, and social interaction Encourage independence by allowing participants to complete tasks on their own whenever possible

    Facilitate community-based activities and recreational opportunities Utilize person-centered approaches Submit required documentation in a timely manner Participate in monthly staff meetings and required training

    Qualifications

    Schedule

    Monday through Friday 8AM - 3PM Services in Community Settings
