Role: Community Living Direct Support Professional

Make a difference in the lives of others!

• Support Plans: Provide training and support based on person-centered plans.
• Daily Assistance: Help with personal care, problem-solving, and tasks at home or in the community.
  Community Integration: Provide transportation, dispense medications, and assist with appointments and socialization.
• Position Requirements
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Passion to make a difference in the lives of others
• Experience: One year of experience working with people with disabilities, preferred
• Physical Demands: Ability to transfer individuals over 75 pounds or push/pull wheelchairs
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours
• Training Provided

NOTE: This position requires physical abilities that include one or more of the following (this is not a comprehensive list): pushing or pulling persons in wheelchairs, transferring persons weighing at least 75pounds to and from wheelchairs with another staff person, lifting 25 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling motions, physical interventions.
