About the Role Capable Hands Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Champlin, MN. In this role, you will support individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and assistance that helps them achieve their goals and maintain their independence. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Support community participation by accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and outings.
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and maintain accurate documentation.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and members of the care team.
Requirements - High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Minnesota DHS requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a person-centered approach to support.
- Availability to work a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
