Description

The primary responsibility of DSRPs is to support and assist family members or guardians caring for children with disabilities who have qualified for respite services. They provide appropriate care to children and support families by providing a planned break in the family's home, their own home, or other community settings as defined by the Respite Plan.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Provide individual support to children based on the Respite Plan.2. Assist children with positive behavior and well-being while in their care.3. Exercise good judgment.4. Provide services as scheduled.5. Completes Respite Daily Logs in accordance with program procedures and submits within 24 hours.6. Adheres to the agency's clinical, administrative, and personnel polices and procedures.7. Attends all scheduled supervisions, meetings, and trainings as assigned by supervisor and/or director.Must be able to pass background checks including DMV, CPS, APS, and Criminal checks.
