Description

Title: Direct Marketing Channel Manager
Location: Buffalo, NY (4 days on-site)

  • Remote, EST hours (no chance for conversion)

Duration: 6 months, potential for extension or conversion to full-time


We are seeking an experienced Direct Marketing Manager to join our client's Direct Marketing Center of Excellence (COE). In this role, you will lead end-to-end direct marketing efforts across all corporate business lines—including Retail, Consumer Lending, Business Banking, Wealth, and Commercial—utilizing direct mail, email, statement messaging, and emerging targetable channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategy: Partner with business line leaders to understand growth goals, influence direct marketing investments, and build business cases for testing innovative offers and channels.

  • Deliver Results: Direct end-to-end campaign execution, budget allocation, and cross-functional integration to ensure direct marketing enhances broader omni-channel campaigns.

  • Communicate Impact: Deliver regular campaign updates, key insights, and long-term strategic roadmaps to executive leadership.

  • Leverage Analytics: Collaborate with analytics teams to design test-and-learn agendas that optimize audience targeting and campaign efficiency.

  • Protect the Brand: Ensure all marketing touchpoints strictly adhere to corporate brand standards through close partnership with advertising and promotions leads.

  • Manage Vendor Partnerships: Oversee agency and vendor contracts, mitigate operational risk, and align external partners with bank objectives to drive maximum campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing marketing campaigns in a corporate or agency setting.
