[Responsibilities]
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment: switchgear, motors, generators, pumps, fans
- Maintain and service DC systems: batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters
- Support control systems: PLCs, HMIs, control networks, end devices (motor controls, sensors, solenoids, actuators)
- Ensure safety system performance: ESD panels, gas/flame detectors, manual activation switches
- Assist in planning, budgeting, and documentation for station operations and compliance
- Respond to abnormal operating conditions and perform daily inspections and maintenance activities
- Support environmental compliance, gas loss reporting, and station documentation
- Provide station coverage as needed, including overtime, weekends, and extended shifts
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Foundational knowledge of electrical and control systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Physically able to work in demanding conditions (lifting up to 45 lbs, climbing, stooping, etc.)
- Willingness to reside within 30 miles of the reporting location
- Eagerness to learn and advance within the technician career path
[Preferred Skills]
- Associate degree in a relevant technical field
- Previous experience in electrical/instrumentation or industrial settings
