[About the Role]
Join Enbridge as an Instrument & Electrical Technician II in Concordia, MO. As a key member of our pipeline operations team, you will maintain critical electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable throughput. This direct hire role offers hands-on technical experience, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive, safety-focused work environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pipeline equipment to optimize performance and minimize service interruptions.
- Ensure compliance with Enbridge policies and regulatory requirements (PHMSA, OSHA, EPA).
- Document all maintenance activities using Maximo database and complete DOT inspections accurately.
- Support emergency response efforts and participate in the on-call maintenance schedule.
- Oversee and assist with regional projects in assigned areas.
- Manage site security, acquisition of repair components, and justification for equipment replacement or purchase.
- Maintain Operator Qualification requirements and complete ongoing training.
- Foster stakeholder engagement, damage prevention, and compliance initiatives.
- Provide guidance to contractors and project teams as needed.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- High School Diploma and at least 2 years of relevant technical training and experience.
- Currently enrolled in or completion of a technical or vocational school program, apprenticeship, or certified trades program.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with computer operations (Windows, Microsoft Office suite).
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
- Ability to live or relocate within 35 miles of Concordia, MO.
- Ability to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) and maintain a CMV file.
[Preferred Skills]
- Electrical Journeyman status or participation in an accredited apprenticeship.
- Industrial experience with HVAC/R systems.
- Experience in crude oil pipeline, pumping stations, or facility maintenance.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, switchgear, flow meters, PLCs, MCCs, UPS, and instrumentation.
