Direct Hire - Functional SAP PP/MM Business Systems Analyst

This role will focus on SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM), supporting manufacturing processes including production planning, MRP, BOMs and routings, work centers, production orders, rework and repair processes, and MES/shop-floor integration. The ideal candidate combines strong SAP PP/MM functional implementation experience with hands-on knowledge of discrete manufacturing environments such as electronics, servers, PCBA, SMT, assembly, or repair operations.

Position Summary
Seeking an experienced SAP PP/MM Module Implementation Business Systems Analyst to lead SAP implementation readiness supporting U.S.-based AI server manufacturing operations.
This role will focus on SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM), supporting manufacturing processes including production planning, MRP, BOMs and routings, work centers, production orders, rework and repair processes, and MES/shop-floor integration.
The ideal candidate combines strong SAP PP/MM functional implementation experience with hands-on knowledge of discrete manufacturing environments such as electronics, servers, PCBA, SMT, assembly, or repair operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP/MM fit-gap workshops and define future-state (TO-BE) manufacturing processes.
• Gather and translate manufacturing requirements into SAP functional and system requirements.
• Define PP/MM master data requirements, including BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, material master data, and MRP parameters.
• Configure and validate production planning and execution scenarios within SAP.
• Design and support MRP and forecast-to-build processes.
• Support production order creation and execution, confirmations, backflushing, rework/repair orders, scrap processes, and material movements.
• Coordinate SAP PP/MM integration with SD, CO, FI, PLM, MES, and other manufacturing systems.
• Partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering, IT, and end users to ensure system solutions align with shop-floor requirements.
• Support MES and shop-floor integration for manufacturing execution and production visibility.
• Develop test scripts, UAT plans, training materials, SOPs, and supporting documentation.
• Support master data preparation, validation, governance, and migration.
• Participate in implementation cutover planning and execution.
• Provide hypercare and issue resolution following go-live.
• Identify process and system gaps and recommend scalable solutions to support growing manufacturing operations.
• Serve as a key functional resource between business users, manufacturing teams, IT, and SAP technical resources.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP PP/MM functional implementation experience.
• Strong experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM).
• Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes and production environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing within electronics, servers, PCBA, SMT, assembly, repair, or a comparable manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of MRP, BOMs, material master, routings, work centers, production versions, production orders, confirmations/backflushing, rework/repair orders, and material movements.
• Experience participating in or leading SAP fit-gap analysis and TO-BE process design.
• Experience supporting UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-production hypercare.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with core users, end users, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong project/program leadership and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience within AI server, server, electronics, PCBA, SMT, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Experience integrating SAP with MES/shop-floor systems.
• Knowledge of SAP integration with SD, CO, FI, and PLM.
• Experience with master data governance in manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of SAP ABAP concepts, SAP database tables, and SAP reporting.
• Experience supporting greenfield implementations, new manufacturing facilities, or major manufacturing expansions.
• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations from implementation readiness through go-live.
