Schedule: Sunday - 11am to 7pm Monday - 11am to 7pm Thursday - 11am to 7pm
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
Assist clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed.
Document and report any changes in client behavior or health status.
Support clients in social and recreational activities.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving preferred.
Previous experience in direct care or healthcare settings is a plus.
Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathetic and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Member Info:
24-year-old male with Autism
Member has an Augg comm device in place. Speech therapy continues to work with member on using the device and his communication. He is able to speak some words.
Member is non- verbal and does not always understand consequences in the home and in the community. Docent understand that if he walks in front of a car that he will get hit.
